About me

Do you ever think that you might want someone to talk to?

Do you ever think that you might want someone to talk to?

Do you ever think that you might want someone to talk to?

I'm here!  I've been a licensed clinical social worker since 2009 and have worked with many populations and in varied settings.   I really enjoy learning about people and wellness and sharing that with others.

Been to therapy before?

Do you ever think that you might want someone to talk to?

Do you ever think that you might want someone to talk to?

Maybe you found something that worked for you and maybe you didn't.  We will explore together the best way to approach your situation.  Ever try mindfulness activities?  How about EMDR?

It would be my privilege to share your journey.

It would be my privilege to share your journey.

If I am unable to fulfill your therapeutic needs, I will work to find you the best treatment possible for your circumstances.

More About Me

My Interests and Specializations

I have a bachelors degree in psychology and a masters in  social work and a graduate certificate of advanced study in athletic counseling.  I have practiced in a number of different states prior to settling in Arizona in 2015.  I really like it here and hope to stay for a long time!  I have worked in outpatient mental health, both residential and outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, collegiate and correctional settings.  I work only with adults.  My specializations are in the treatment of co-occurring disorders and working with the athletic population on their unique experiences and issues. Most recently, much of my practice has involved those who have experienced traumatic incidents.  I am a client centered therapist, with a strengths-based approach and utilize EMDR, DBT and CBT interventions regularly with clients.  I am a qualified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), which enables me to conduct substance use evaluations for Department of Transportation employees.

Human beings truly interest me.  I find that every individual has a unique presence in the world and sometimes we all just need a little help finding our potential and/or our path to wellness.  I enjoy regular mindfulness and yoga practice myself and will only suggest strategies to clients that either I personally use or have seen others find success with.  Life can be hard, but I'm constantly looking for ways to find happiness and would be honored to pass along what I have learned.  I'm ready to listen when you're ready...
